THIS IS A SENIOR ENTERPRISE APPLICATION ARCHITECT ROLE
THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE THE CONSULTANT TO WORK 3 DAYS ONSITE & 2 DAYS REMOTE.
This role provides application and integration architecture across the full enterprise application portfolio. The architect performs assessments, develops modernization and rationalization recommendations, and ensures alignment with architectural standards and patterns. The position requires experience with integration technologies, API platforms, technical tooling, and an understanding of application development practices and solution onboarding. The architect leverages modern modernization approaches—including AI‑assisted insights, automation, and cloud‑aligned patterns—to evaluate systems and guide portfolio evolution. The role collaborates with engineering, security, operations, and product teams to support architectural consistency and modernization readiness across the enterprise.

Portfolio Analysis & Rationalization:
Analyze applications for technical health, risk, complexity, and modernization suitability.
Identify candidates for consolidation, replatforming, refactoring, or retirement.
Maintain architecture‑related RAID items and contribute insights for portfolio dashboard
Architecture Governance & Standards:
Participate in architecture review boards and standards discussions.
Ensure designs comply with architectural guardrails and modernization patterns.
Review vendor and contractor deliverables for alignment with enterprise architecture.
Support the development and maintenance of architectural decision records.
Security, Resiliency & Compliance:
Incorporate security‑by‑design and resiliency principles into application and integration architectures.
Identify architectural risks and recommend mitigation approaches.
Ensure alignment with security frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Lifecycle & Readiness Alignment:
Support DevSecOps and SDLC alignment through architecture criteria and checkpoints.
Ensure applications meet modernization readiness and integration requirements.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Partner with engineering, cybersecurity, operations, product teams, and program management to maintain architectural consistency.
Provide clear architectural guidance to support modernization planning and design.
Collaborate across teams to address dependencies and design considerations
